My nose in a book sweet smell of inspiration Artist's words speak life
I believe sharing my story of pain, self-harm, and troubles will support the recovery and healing of others. I believe writing about how my faith brought me through will remind my reader that their life has value.
This is why I wrote, My Road: A Runner’s Journey Through Persistent Pain to Healing and Staring Down a Dream: A Mom, a Marathoner, a Mission to allow my readers to lean into their story of challenges with curiosity and courage.
Perhaps my story will help one person in pain feel less alone to know— there is light just up ahead hold tight to your courage.
Inspire one runner to keep showing up— your endurance will pay off, keep going.
Encourage one mother to continue lacing up knowing her dedication is impacting her children for the good— you’re showing them resilience, hard work, and what it takes to pursue a dream.
I hope readers will discover what is possible when faith, persistence, and self-love are in the driver's seat.
Please reach out if you would like to purchase one of my books for you or someone you love this Holiday season.
Thank you for your interest and support,
Julie
“We all have a story. The difference is: do you use the story to empower yourself? Or do you use your story to keep yourself a victim? The question itself empowers you to change your life.”
~Sunny Dawn Johnston
Would you consider sharing this with ten friends? Thank you for spreading the word.
What a wonderful family photo from Boston 2021! I believe your expression demonstrates what you’ve chosen to do with your story. Possibly also with a hint of post-race endorphin levels?
Some grueling races aren’t run on the ground. Rather, chasing our demons can require similar effort and dedication to rid our brains, our souls, of the “dark matter” that troubles our lives.
Thanks for exemplifying that and for your books to inspire us to strive for healthier lives. 🙏🏽
Happy family

A “treasured” moment
Jules, continue to do what you say and say what you do. Nothing is more powerful.
