I am also thankful for freedom!

I remember when I couldn't go to church. It is a privilege that I can go now!

Thank you for reminding me to remember to be thankful.

You are so very welcome Julie- I hope you're finding small (yet precious) pockets of pause in your day. xx

Ps. Really love this poem. We really are blessed to have the freedom to move as (and when) we choose don't we?

Good morning Georgia, I'm being more deliberate with my days to pause and be still. Thank you for all the wisdom.

Very beautiful poem and great tribute. My we all have the freedom to run, and at times, to keep running and not look back.

Your stanza containing …”some women don’t have these choices…” is sadly true. When human spirit and vitality is chained to disallow its expression, the whole of humanity languishes.

To write and share this during Women’s History Month offers a vitally important message. Thank you so much. As a mother runner and striver extraordinaire, Brava!

Thank you Gary. It's a sad realization and one I'm learning women in these countries are pushing back on. I pray for their courage and safety.

It's hard to believe Saudi women aren't able to run for exercise, or to improve their health. Thank you Clark for reading and the poem.

Yes, the “Secret 3k” was powerful. Freedoms and rights can be controversial but I promised myself never to bring politics into this beautiful space. One thing though we can All agree on is that all people, everywhere, should have the freedom to run.❗️👣❗️

Thank you Clark. I recognize this as well and don't want this to head down a rabbit hole. I agree...all people, everywhere should get the choice to run when they want to.
