Thank you so much Julie for your ode to awareness of our lives. I don’t always push “Play” when the opportunity exists. This morning I did! I heard warmth and richness in your reading. Word by word. I could almost see the sugar on the hickory’s formerly bare limbs. In such a snow symphony, maples and hickories are the clarinets and fifes, hemlocks and fir trees the bass drum and tuba! Your picture and words provided a joyful start to my day. May your day be the very best.
Awareness or consciousness that you lack nothing when you meet the trail is a gift all humans have but are typically unaware of…where is awareness found? Inside or outside us? Science is searching for this mysterious gift. Contemplating consciousness is so intriguing and so humbling…
Keep questioning Clark. I'm saying that to remind me and to encourage my children as well. I notice they don't ask me as many questions as they use to. I ask them after school— what question did you ask today? It's a start.
Lovely images your writing creates in my head, like the trail left by your snow-frosted sneakers in the snow. Nice to wake up to on a windy, snow-less day in SoCal.
Thank you for noticing Gail. :) I wear my trail sneakers and I've found that gives me better grip and safety in the snow. I love them. Enjoy your walk. Thank you for being here and chiming in. It means a lot.

Jules, our awareness
Oh my, where does it come from?
No one understands…

I love these beautiful questions Clark. Thank you for being here. You are a gift to this community.
Thanks for inspiring my questions Jules. As I age, I question more…
Have a day flooded with conscious awareness…it changes everything ❗️

Thanks again!
I am so glad you write these poems every day. They really help me through my anxiety! Love you!!!

Good morning Faith. Thank you for sharing your courage here. I'm happy these words calm your mind. Love you.

Hi Ruth! It's so great to get your message here. Thank you for reading and I'm happy you can picture the snow as you enjoy SoCal. :) Have fun!
It's so awesome to be in that space where we realize we really do lack no good thing. Gratitude is joy.
I am grateful today for a rug my boss gifted our classroom with. It feels like we are in the woods! I will try to send a picture.
Oh how wonderful! Yes send me a picture if you can or text it. I agree...gratitude is joy. Thank you Claudette for being here and your responses.
Frosted, sweet, sugary. I’m craving a powdered donut now.
HA! This made me smile. Amie you're the best. I didn't even think about donuts at the time...I had marshmallows on my mind. :) Have a great weekend.
A Rabbi once told me, the question is all important. Without the right question, you never arrive at the right answer…
Wise Rabbi.
One thing I want to keep improving on...asking better questions.
The first thing I notice is that you are "thankful" for the snowstorm.
Refreshing.
Just home fro a snowy, roads-yet-to-be-plowed walk with Henrietta, I marvel that you can run in snow. 🙌🏻
