HA! Yes the tension...thank you for reading along Clark. As I begin to write I realize there is a lot here and thought breaking it up would be a better idea. :) Thank you for joining the conversation and stay tuned...26.2 miles is up next.

Great story. I am not a runner and I could still relate to it.

Look how far you have come! I have always said, you can do anything with the right tool.

A board and a nail need a hammer. An attack from the enemy requires the tool of FAITH!

Look how you are learning to use your tools!

YES! I've come along way for sure. It's a daily practice to not give the enemy a seat at the table. Thank you Claudette! Enjoy this beautiful sunny morning. :)

HA! You are too kind Jillian. I'm not sure you'll find too many. The biggest, keep showing up—sounds simple but life gets lifey. I hope you are well and enjoying your runs. :)

And she keeps us in suspense again.... :) Glad to hear you were feeling better, and that the shake out run put confidence back in your stride. Birdsong is such great medicine!

But I didn’t “run a marathon in it”❗️❗️❗️

HA! I think driving in it is just as challenging.

With all the safety features on my Subaru, I feel less stress on the roads than in the past but “defensive” driving is the only way to drive. Way too many crazies on the roads. At least runners typically stay in their “lanes”.

I totally agree!! And I drive a Subaru too. :)

I've biked the fields in Gettysburg. I cannot even begin to imagine running them! That being said, I love Gettysburg. It's beautiful and haunting.

Hi Sarah, Oh wow, what an amazing bike ride. I was hoping the race would be in the battlefield area but we ran just around the outskirts...still beautiful. We did get to the museum the day before and I have a whole new reverence for The Battle of Gettysburg and President Lincoln.
