Jules, as you know energy is bundled up in everything. Scientists say there is enough energy bundled up in a paper clip to create more energy than unleashed at Hiroshima. Human "Fear" ( resistance) is also bundled up in everything. But every Mother ( and Dad) knows that the love for their child knows no bounds. Harness "that love" and RESISTANCE melts... Yes, if you can't overcome resistance for yourself, you will overcome it for your children. I recall moments in business when I froze like the proverbial deer in headlights. I visualized my precious daughters and all that I wanted to achieve to help secure their future. That " love " always propelled me forward.
Thank you Clark for sharing your wisdom and encouragement. This was so helpful to read this morning and my children will keep me moving forward. Onward! :) I hope you have a great Thursday. Thanks again.
Oh I’m so happy to know Rebecca! It’s always great to hear from you and I’m so behind too! I can’t believe I haven’t gotten to your Saturday post yet and it’s already Thursday! EEK!
LOL - I can so relate - I haven’t even been on Substack for the last four days! First I’m catching up on notifications, then I’m looking forward to enjoying my inbox of posts to read! It’s amazing how quickly time passes, isn’t it? Lovely to see you yesterday - I was so pleased to be able to join the Write Along, having missed it last week. Thank you so much! ☺️
Thank you for sharing this with me! I'm still figuring out my schedule with adding in the 3 days of educating my kiddos from home. :) It's been fun so far but definitely less time on the computer. Wonderful to see you yesterday! Thank you so much for joining us.
Thank you so much Rebecca. :) The weather has been wonderful this entire week and it's been great to get their work done outside. Taking advantage of it. Enjoy your Thursday.
I love the photos of your kids and you writing, and the running photos, too. Resistance as I age is tied more and more to fatigue, realizing I'm really not 30 . . . . and learning the difference between mental resistance and physical resistance and also their shared similarities. Sometimes it's easier to push past the physical to "just do it" than the mental. Resistance eases and something settles when I pray, and I realize Who I'm praying to, and Who is with me, right there, with me, always. Sometimes both physical and mental resistance eases with a nap. 😊
The combination of your messaging and images today was doubly uplifting! The changing season and lessening of daylight hours makes “heading out” with Izzie less motivating. While my LED headlamp does well to light my path, there’s no substitute for the sun! No Vitamin D from an LED. All the best!
I'm so happy to hear this post was uplifting for you today. :) I hear you...the mornings are definitely darker yet the flip side...the stars, constellations, and moon are a joy to move under and with. :)
Thank you for being here and have a great Thursday,

I love this so much! Thank you for sharing and being here with me. I truly appreciate AF words and will write these down on an index card. (In fact this will be the first quote I use for the next Run to Write Club...it's perfect!)
So awesome you are sharing your gift with us and your children!
I have 14 new wonderfulnesses in my new classroom !
Good morning Claudette. It's so great to get your message.
Oh wonderful! I hope you have a great school year.
Thank you Julie!
Blessings on your children in their new classes!
Thank you Claudette! We're excited for our new adventure! :)

Oh! This is absolutely wonderful, Julie! I've just written down the prompt 'What does writing give me?' in my journal - I'm going to work on this.
I'm so behind on both my reading and my writing at the moment! So happy to check in with your newsletter for a lovely catch-up. 😊

Welcome, and you, too!
I like this thinking…fight the resistance!
