Happy birthday Julie wishing you a great birthday and an even better year. I give gratitude daily when I journal, today (as I sit in my recovery chair) I thought and gave gratitude for the beautiful December day, even if I am watching it through a window.

I’m grateful for this poem! How softly your words float past, snowflakes transporting me to the woods in winter.

Snowflakes grace the trail

Red winged hawk soars over all

As Great Spirit smiles

The celebratory tone of today’s post is evident. The result of living out loud? In harmony with the present? Words and image make that clear!

I’m grateful for the painted blaze on the evergreen’s trunk! Not unlike turning a key in a locked box where precious memories of past treks in wooded surrounds remain. (Blazed boulders in a waist-deep cold, rushing stream? Not so much.)

Thanks for brightening my day.

Thank you so much for this beautiful poem Gary! I love it. Oh yes, you noticed the blue marking I was following. :) I appreciate how well they mark the trails...I've had a few times when I've taken the wrong turn. HA!

I'm so happy to know this brighten your day.

Nature and Spirit

Just lovely Jules. “Congregation of Evergreens “… heart soars on the wings of a red tailed hawk. I so resonate with both. Deeply. Thank You Birthday Poet.
