Julie, what a great site to capture as well as the presence of your mind (well your daughters 😄) to notice such a beautiful thing. I truly enjoy reading your inspiring poems and writing. 😄
Thank you so much Howard! I was so surprised. Great timing that we were home just hanging around the garden. YAY! That is not easy for me to do. HA! I'm so happy you enjoy the poems. Thank you for being here and chiming in.
Thank you watching! :) I do hope I can capture the monarch exiting...how cool would that be! It's getting a little more transparent so thinking any day now.
Your “holy cow” comment during the video speaks volumes …
“Pilgrim at Tinker Creek” is one of the very best books I have ever read. I think you will love it. Delaney is still too young to read it and fully appreciate it. High school or College.
I have seen these before, but not this year. Not many monarchs around here this year. Darn it!! They used to visit my milkweeds. Love the smell of the milkweed flowers!
Wow Faith. That is wonderful. This is the first time witnessing this...I'm still in awe. We have many milkweed flowers in the back of our house. I love them too. Thank you for being here.
Thanks Delaney for “noticing” and Julia for “capturing” a moment I have read about but never seen. Awe and wonder unfolding be for our my very eyes. Have you read “Pilgrim at Tinker Creek”? Annie Dillard would be very proud of you Delaney...❗️
Thank you Clark. I was so excited to see this happen right in front of me. Amazing! I have not that one by Annie Dillard. I will add to my list. :) Thank you so much. I'm keeping my eyes out in hopes to video the monarch flying out. How cool would that be?!
