Book recommendation: Although I am only 1/3 of the way through, if you truly want to live in “awe & wonder” for the rest of your life, read Paul R. Fleischman’s book “Wonder”. I must read it very slowly as his writing style packs much into each sentence. But if you go slowly, it is truly life changing. ( at least for me).
Thank you! It definitely sounds like a book for me. :) I appreciate the recommendation and perfect timing as I will be going to the bookstore this week. YAY! I'll see if they have it. Thanks again.
Wonderful stuff! Such an inspirational poem, Julie - beautiful words.
Yay to those marathoners! It's the London marathon next weekend, I think - even the theme tune for the TV coverage brings me to tears (which it has done right now - I've got it playing as I'm typing this). SO INSPIRING - the race, the music, the people, the 'masses' running in insane costumes to raise money for charity. I LOVE IT.
Yes! London is next week! I'm so glad you shared the theme tune...gave me goose bumps and a marathon I want to get to race sometime soon! Will you watch a little on TV? I'm curious how far away are you from London? (hope you don't mind all the questions)Thank you Rebecca for reading and your message.
I'll definitely be watching on TV, that's for sure! If I miss the coverage during the day I'll absolutely catch the highlights programme in the evening. We're about 60 miles from London - it's easily doable on the train from our local town. I haven't been there for years, though! 😊🤣
Great! I'll check for highlights as well. I have a friend who is racing! GO Tonya!! 60 miles from London not bad...okay so when I run the London Marathon I expect to see you there. LOL
I wasn't but she is grit and finished hard. I was so excited to see Emma Bates up there! How amazing she was top 5. It was a fantastic finish and I just cried my eyes out. LOL

I'll be there, Julie! Keep me posted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And in the meantime, GO TONYA! 🏆
YAY!! :)
Yes, I love Des as well. So real. So authentic. Such grit. Alas, today was not her day. Perhaps Bates will excite both of us in the future.

Lovely poem Heartbreak Hill...and a nice message to anyone struggling to get through a day! Well done!
Thank you Jack! Your message means a lot. I hope your week is off to a great start.
Love this one so much! Glad I have your book!!
Faith! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you enjoyed it. :)
This is probably my favorite. I always tear up at the end every time I read it.❤️
Thank you mom! Praying I get another chance in 2024!
🙌👣🙌
Will you be watching? I wish I was there in person, but will be watching from the TV. :) Can't wait!
I will watch until winning women crosses finish line. I think ESPN coverage begins at 8:30. Enjoy❗️
Yes! Me too. I'm cheering on Des. :)
We had a spot just before HBH where we saw my brother who was a mess already. Have fun!
Oh I wish I was there! I'm watching on the TV...(oops I wasn't very clear on that). I'll have fun from my living room. LOL
