Book recommendation: Although I am only 1/3 of the way through, if you truly want to live in “awe & wonder” for the rest of your life, read Paul R. Fleischman’s book “Wonder”. I must read it very slowly as his writing style packs much into each sentence. But if you go slowly, it is truly life changing. ( at least for me).

Thank you! It definitely sounds like a book for me. :) I appreciate the recommendation and perfect timing as I will be going to the bookstore this week. YAY! I'll see if they have it. Thanks again.

Wonderful stuff! Such an inspirational poem, Julie - beautiful words.

Yay to those marathoners! It's the London marathon next weekend, I think - even the theme tune for the TV coverage brings me to tears (which it has done right now - I've got it playing as I'm typing this). SO INSPIRING - the race, the music, the people, the 'masses' running in insane costumes to raise money for charity. I LOVE IT.

Here's the theme tune - it's amazing, seriously - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyjlrcunygU

Yes! London is next week! I'm so glad you shared the theme tune...gave me goose bumps and a marathon I want to get to race sometime soon! Will you watch a little on TV? I'm curious how far away are you from London? (hope you don't mind all the questions)Thank you Rebecca for reading and your message.

I'll definitely be watching on TV, that's for sure! If I miss the coverage during the day I'll absolutely catch the highlights programme in the evening. We're about 60 miles from London - it's easily doable on the train from our local town. I haven't been there for years, though! 😊🤣

Great! I'll check for highlights as well. I have a friend who is racing! GO Tonya!! 60 miles from London not bad...okay so when I run the London Marathon I expect to see you there. LOL

Yes, I love Des as well. So real. So authentic. Such grit. Alas, today was not her day. Perhaps Bates will excite both of us in the future.

I wasn't but she is grit and finished hard. I was so excited to see Emma Bates up there! How amazing she was top 5. It was a fantastic finish and I just cried my eyes out. LOL
