Hello! Yes, I am trying to get back to mindfulness in my running. I miss those times when I'm drifting off in thought, and the running is just happening. You are right Holly, too much time stressing out and not taking care of our selves.

100%! I came from a formal sitting mindfulness meditation practice long before I ever got into running. Trail running is the closest experience I've had to mindfulness meditation. I wrote about it here: https://kenlane.substack.com/p/the-mindfulness-practice-of-trail

Yes!! I don't like when I do this and that was me yesterday. I was so glad to get a hint from nature to chill out. :)
