This poem pairs well with coffee—just sayin'.

I still like that us Americans call them "sneakers," as opposed to "trainers" by a lot of the rest of the English speaking world—a moniker that makes much more sense. But "sneaker" is just silly enough to continue using. What are we, ninjas?

I may be the weird one, but my favorite running "shoe" are actually Shamma Warrior sandals. They're less "shoes" and more just "sole protection" against the world. I made a little video about my fascination with these kicks here: https://youtu.be/e6EW0ZWgLNs

YES! I tried them for the first time a few months ago. They were very similar to the Glycerine and loved them...they are now covered in mud. HA!

Maybe you could teach me how to double tie 3 year olds' sneakers so they stay tied!

LOL Claudette! I can only imagine all the shoelaces you are working with in a day. I might have a few tricks up my sleeve. :)

I have been SO tempted to double knot before the bow!!

No I can't do that

But I can think about doing it!

LOL Claudette. I could see that as an idea that would help. I think it's sometimes the laces that don't always cooperate.
