In a house full of children (16, but who is counting) , my two favorites are “Motherest”
And “Mombadear”

My Dad taught us kids how to get that spinach off the plate. Distract Mom long enough to slide it back into the serving bowl when she wasn't looking!

Most of my nicknames are rather vanilla--Mamae (pronounced mah-may when they were small), Mama, Madre (though I have no idea why), but then there is Ayah. I’ll share a post on this one soon, but this is what my grandchildren call me.
