You're giving me such treasures this week, Julie - diamonds yesterday, stardust today - all so precious and wonderful!
And speaking of which, here's my latest reading update: It's the next morning!!! No plot spoilers here, but you'll know exactly where I am in 'Staring Down a Dream' just by those words. 🙌
Hi Rebecca, Oh thank you for reading and I just love the idea of stardust...don't you? :) OH goodies...you're moving right along in the book and getting to the good part. :)
The 'good part'?! Oh you do make me laugh! It's brilliant through and through. It's a wonderful read, and it's reminding me with great fondness and many goosepimples of the 10k race that I won* a few years ago.
*I didn't win THE race. But I won MINE. And that's what it was about for me!
Oh I'm so happy to read this—the fondness and goosepimples it's bringing up for you in a fabulous way! Thank you for sharing and congratulations on winning YOUR race! YES! That's what it's always about I think.
Thank you!!! I'm curious what is something you don't want to forget about those chapters? (you don't have to reply...just a fun question I like to ask myself when I read books.)
Hi Amie! Oh my goodness...you made me smile! I'm really stepping out of my comfort zone with these once a week read-alouds and I get so nervous that I'm not articulating or speaking well enough. Thank you for your kind words. I hope to see you tomorrow or another Friday soon. :)
I just jumped on the Run to Write group link, wondering where everyone was and then it hit me: I'm an hour late. Rats!!! The time change got me. Even though Arizona doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time, we suddenly shift from Mountain to Pacific time when everyone else changes their clocks and I forgot your 11 am is now my 8 am. See you next time, and by then I will have received your book!
Oh dang Amie, I totally forgot to remind everyone with the time change. My apologies. I look forward to see you next time and I'm thrilled you ordered my book. wow! Thank you so much. I can't wait to hear your thoughts. :) Have a wonderful weekend and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Thank you Claire. :) Have a wonderful weekend
Your beautiful voice carried me through the poem as softly as the snow carried you along the path.
(The dogs enjoyed it, too. The cat wasn’t altogether sure).
