Found by my lab, Max, on our various urban dog jogs: a plastic Easter egg filled with jellybeans, a magnet letter W (upside down letter M for Max & now on my fridge), used gloves and syringes (ewww), a wooden sign with the word “BEST” in gold glitter, half a tiny bird eggshell.
Sounds like fun, Julie! Guided and inspired by a Great Blue Heron at lift off… both a majestic sight and an inspiring form of movement. Unless I learn the Heron’s flight skills between then and now it unlikely I’ll be able to join up en vivo. In Spirit? Yes!
Although all birds captivate me in so many ways, the Great Blue Heron, as it lifts off, startles me as my eyes behold in utter disbelief such beauty, grace and power...
During my early morning rides to the Y to swim, I don't see creatures but hear them: crickets, birds, cicadas. The birds are my favorite - their first songs are almost timid. I love them.
Oh Julie. I’m saving this one. Great Blues are my favorite bird!
Thank you so much Kym! One of my favorites as well...so much beauty in the world. :)

Oh my! What a lucky runner you are Amie. Thank you for sharing and we loved the postcard! wow to the dolphins. That must have been so cool!
I love to see the Goldfinches swoop down in front of me.
"Do you want to play?"
Yes, the Goldfinches are so cute, I love the bright yellow. They always make me smile. Thank you Claudette.

Ha! Could you imagine...in spirit— me too. :) Thank you Gary and hope all is well.
The "great blue heron"
Clearly not a misnomer
Majestic in flight

I agree Clark. All birds just amaze me but to see the Great Blue Heron lift off is a show stopper! :) Enjoy your day.
