Running with the sunrise is my favorite time. So easy to connect with nature and the awe & wonder of existence. The desire to nurture and protect all that sustains our every breath is palpable. I must act & do more to meet the challenges of Climate Change. I must become a better ancestor for my future family tree and the planet. If not now, when!

I hear you Clark! I've been thinking about this A LOT the last two weeks. Maybe that's why my sleep has been off. The next thing I'm committing to do is bring a reusable coffee mug to my favorite coffee shops instead of using the disposable cups. I thought I was doing okay since the cups are compostable but then I read all the problems the lids create for the climate and I'm making the switch. Small steps I guess are better than nothing. Thoughts?

I enjoy working in my flower bed. The birds sing to me and help me to relax.

Thank you Julie for the perfect reminder of great mornings. One of the reasons I love running.

Many days my Journal begins with the gratitude of seeing the day start while being outside. I often say to myself on amazing sunrise day's if you can't appreciate this beauty than you are missing the beauty of the world. Thank you morning gratitude,

Small steps are important & I applaud you. But joining a group of committed citizens in one’s community might be your next step. We must act together to impact real change.

You are a natural born leader Jules. You can do this and your children will be so proud.

This made me laugh! I bet!! :) Thank you for sharing Amie. Oh, so I saved the garbanzo bean liquid to make your recipe and so one (I won't mention names) threw it out. LOL...I will try again soon and label it this time.
