Release the Brakes (Title credit to Clark)

Two roads
to travel…
Which one do you take?

Stay small
Quiet
Hide your light
Fewer turns
And climbs
Straightforward
Exactly!
Keep to the status quo
Inside you shout— NO!

You ask
Why?
What if?
How?

Curiosity grows
And courage too
You have a choice
to make…
Face your fears
Make the climb
And don’t be afraid
to question your
next direction

A Map?
You ask…
I would love one
too
Yet perhaps
a good
Moral compass
Will be better
 to guide you.
