Good morning Gail! It's on my desk to open frequently now. LOL I'm looking forward to you and Jay's conversation this week. :) Thank you so much. Keep going Gail.
Glad you like "The Longest Race" Ayre's is special. Thrilled you are running this 50 miler. If you get "hooked" on Ultras, I have a friend who has run The Tahoe 200 three times. She is a medical doctor and loves "Ultras" and would be happy to talk to you should you have any questions or concerns about this race or future Ultras.👣👣👣
wow! The Tahoe 200 three times. That's impressive. I would love to connect with her if I decide this is more than a one and done adventure. :) I bet she has so many stories and wisdom to share. Thanks Clark!
If you ever want to reach out to her before or after the race, I will be happy to introduce the two of you. My wife Sharon is a big fan of hers. And by the way, you two share "first" names‼️
I've turned to novels recently in a bigger way than usual - hmmm, perhaps that's how I've got behind on my Substack reading?! I've been enjoying the longer-form genre for a while.
Speaking of longer-form - I'm so thrilled for you in this run-up to such a long race! Exciting times!!!
As well as having a Bill Bryson paperback on the go (Neither Here nor There) I’ve been reading - and listening - a lot on the Libby app, having only very recently discovered it! I’ve enjoyed a couple of thrillers, reread several Agatha Christies - and enjoyed the beautiful indulgence of Little House in the Big Woods, which was one of my absolute favourites as a child!
Hi Rebecca, Thank you for sharing all the fun books you're reading and listening to. :) Last year I read Little House in the Big Woods to the kids. I also grew up reading all The Little House in the Prairie books...so good. Enjoy your day. :)
Good morning Julie! I like your invitation to begin this first day of a new work week. The blend of running and seeing our surroundings is a delight. That view of Goldenrods in Labrador Hollow, set against the solid background of a green hillside, is breathtaking. The best of days to you and yours!
Labrador Hollow is breathtaking! I'm so lucky to it's just a 20 minute drive away. I will be holding outdoors learning sessions there with my kiddos. :) I hope your Monday is off to a great start and maybe we'll see you soon to write.
Reading Pressfield’s The War of Art AGAIN! I took your recent mention of the book, along with 2 other mentions as a sign to revisit.
This week on OLOL, Jay and I will be talking about the short chapter about “support as a form of resistance”.
Keep running and sharing Julie. 😊
Now that’s a book I’m going to take down again and open. Thanks for the nudge Gail.
My pleasure! I love how I am reading it again with an upscaled level of awareness. 🤯

I would love that Clark if you think it's not too much to ask. I love that we both share first names. :) Feel free to send her my email. Thanks again!
'.....to soar with enthusiasm'! YES!!!

oh wonderful Rebecca. What novels are you digging into to? Happy reading especially with fall in the air. :) A good book and warm drink.

I LOVED those books - I’m so happy to have rediscovered them!
Run gently, run long
Thank you Amie! This resonates. I hope your week is off to a great start. :)

Reading sustains me
Like oxygen and water
Words are miracles...
I couldn't agree more.
Good morning, Clark. :) Happy Monday
