Nice...I've never run a marathon distance...I think my head is filled with too much self-doubt. But I think I would most certainly enjoy the atmosphere and feeling of accomplishment if I finished.
Hi Jack, Thanks for chiming in. :) Self-doubt is definitely something I struggle with too. My first memoir talked a lot about it. I've learned mental training is just as important as the physical training. The atmosphere is amazing—hard to put into words. I bet you would love it!
What an awesome memory!
Thank you Claudette for reading and I hope your day is off to a great start. :)
There is nothing better than hearing those Wellesley girls cheer you on!
It was incredible! —I had goosebumps. Amie have you run Boston? I hope to get back there in 2024.
Yup. 2001. After that, I channeled my energy into ultras.
That's amazing! I ran a 50K in May and would love to work towards a 50 mile ultra. I love the trails. :) Do you race one once a year?
❤️
Thank you Holly! :) Have a great Thursday and hope to see you tomorrow.
Just amazing, Julie - you're such an inspiration! 🏃♀️
You are too kind Rebecca! Thank you so much for reading and I do hope to see you tomorrow. :)

You're probably right...I'm not sure my aging knees would agree, so I may need to have a serious conversation with them at some point!
Jack—Here's some food for thought... You can be bolder when you're older. :) Give that saying a go.
nice...
That’s such an amazing ritual by Wesley College to keep you runners going and knowing you are half way there. Awesome!
It sure is! I see now why runners want to keep coming back, the whole city is full of energy. Thanks for reading mom. :)
