I remember having bronchitis back-to-back two months before the Boston Marathon and crying when I couldn't get outside to run and feeling so horrible. But everyone, even Kathrine Switzer, told me to rest. I did and successfully ran Boston. Sometimes, we just have to sit still as hard as it is. XO

Too much on my mind today. Your words always help. My husband had a pacemaker put in yesterday and going to see him today. His daughter is taking me to St. Joseph's Hospital. Thank God!!

I am taking my 100 year old Mom to get her pacemaker checked this morning. It has kept her well for the past 50 years. I hope your husband will do just as well.

Oh Julie, your last lines!!!! I wonder if Aunt Phoebe might be responsible for that choice of words! 🤣 Sending love - I'm so glad you're back to running! I'm a couple of days behind with my reading, so have only just read your previous post - I'm glad to read that you're already feeling better, but do leave some energy in the tank!
