I remember having bronchitis back-to-back two months before the Boston Marathon and crying when I couldn't get outside to run and feeling so horrible. But everyone, even Kathrine Switzer, told me to rest. I did and successfully ran Boston. Sometimes, we just have to sit still as hard as it is. XO
Oh my gosh, Tracy, That must have been terrible and yet you made it to the start line. What great advice and wisdom. It is hard and I working hard to learn this. :) LOL!
Too much on my mind today. Your words always help. My husband had a pacemaker put in yesterday and going to see him today. His daughter is taking me to St. Joseph's Hospital. Thank God!!
I am taking my 100 year old Mom to get her pacemaker checked this morning. It has kept her well for the past 50 years. I hope your husband will do just as well.
Oh Julie, your last lines!!!! I wonder if Aunt Phoebe might be responsible for that choice of words! 🤣 Sending love - I'm so glad you're back to running! I'm a couple of days behind with my reading, so have only just read your previous post - I'm glad to read that you're already feeling better, but do leave some energy in the tank!
Improvements are happening - they always come! Maybe not on my timeline, but it is undeniable that those positive improvements happen...and exactly at the right time!
I'm happy you're able to lace up those shoes again...

Faith, Thank you for the update. I'm so happy you can see David today and sending hugs and love to you both.

Thank you Rebecca, Yes I'm off to lie down now and listen/practice to the yoga Nidra.
Good old Aunt Phoebe has been having a field day... these last 8 days! I'm getting better at naming her shenanigans
You show her, Julie!!! You're the winner in that relationship, I know you are!
LOL! Thank you Rebecca!!
Thanks very much, Julie...

FDR had it right, The only thing to fear is fear itself. Yes, we humans can be so dramatic… thanks for the poetic reminder Jules❗️
HA! We sure can. I'm learning to forget the drama and get to work... with the drama nothing gets done.
Last two lines are perfect.
Thank you Nancy. :)
Glad you are feeling better today!
Thank you Claudette. Me too. How was the Dr. Seuss celebration?! I'm reading Cat in the Hat today. :)
We had a great time! I can send pics! Enjoy your kiddos!
