I love this, Julie! This brought back memories of a night when Noah was about 4 or 5 and we “chased the moon” on our drive home one evening. And there was a bright star that prompted some imagination from him. At the time I was in a poetry class for my creative writing studies. I wrote this poem based on his thoughts.
Good morning Holly, I'm so glad you shared your memory with us. How sweet and beautiful. Aren't car rides the best for poetry making. :) Have a wonderful morning and hope to see you today to write.

Star
God is on that first far
away speck in the sky
that may be a planet—
that may be the earth.
He has an old shirt
and is probably
in a rocketship.
The child thinks,
and so
it is.
