Ooh...a cardinal sighting - that's pretty cool.

This morning I heard the gentle drip, drip, drip of snow and ice melting away in the warming temperatures. I watched the drips fall into the swollen creek...and I wondered where that water would eventually flow. Will it make it to the Rhine? The Atlantic? Or would it flow into another side creek? Would it turn into tomorrow's fog...or next week's rain? Would it return to this very spot...or has it vanished, never to return? Drip, drip, drip...and on I went.

I love cardinals, it reminds me of my grandpa, he is near. Drip, drip, drip, like the words on a page…drip by drip so much wonder and beauty in your words. Thank you Jack. Oh! I made sweet potato breakfast cookies that were amazing! I thought if you as you’ve been sharing some recipes with sweet potatoes…have you ever made a cookie with sweet potato in it?

Sweet potato cookies - I have yet to venture down that cookie highway, but it sounds delightful!
