I like to write in my journal. They number in the 20's now. It's fun to look back sometimes.

I also love reading my grandparents' journals.

The funniest page to me was where Grandpa described the field work and then wrote "Daughter born."

Aunt Mary got 2 words!

Enjoyed the photos! I just wanted to stop by and say i find your writing ery inspiring and encouraging. I am trying to implant all those plans I made at the start of the new year but fi ding it difficult to get into the studio. I am not sure what it might be but writing everyday does help as it still helps me connet to the clay just in a different way. I am thinking work at the paper factory is making me feel that way as we had a change in leadership so we are still learning the new expectations and their vison for our department. But we will get there. We always do. I do that by showing up. I need to show up more in the studio. I have a good plan.

Hi Al,

Thanks for stopping in and your message. I’m happy to hear your writing is helping everyday. I’m sorry to hear your studio time is becoming difficult. It sounds like you’re spot on with the recent changes at work. You’re doing a great job it sounds like with this and new expectations to adapt to. March into the studio…by March! :)

I’m sorry for the conflict that precluded being there. (Not the Peter Sellars movie. 😉 ) So very heartening to see a matched set of smiles!
