Thanks for your message of positivity, of courage, and commitment. I could carelessly think “Julie’s a runner; of course she runs in the (cold) rain.” Do I know other runners? How diligently they train? Or read other runners’ blogs? An 82 yo friend and neighbor used to compete regularly, but now she walks distances and jogs regularly.

My point is to focus on the full sweep of all your commitments and your dedication to them. And today, while you chose to get plunked by raindrops, you also offered the message to “glow on.” Observing your running conditions with positivity and gratitude.

I’m far from surprised. It looks like I need to clean and polish the lens of my light source. Many thanks.

Good morning Gary!

Thank you for reading and your insights. I am an all weather runner yet sometimes my wild mind likes to talk me out of it! :) HA!

Keep your glow on Gary... I'm very thankful for you.

Update! Surprise! Izzie and I saw a Limpkin this morning in the nearby pond. I’ve never seen one in wintertime since I’ve lived by the pond. They constituted some of the “jungle sounds” in early Tarzan movies which were filmed just south of us. Wakulla Spring, to pinpoint the filming. Apple Snails are the mainstay of their diet which our small pond has a fine supply of.

Go on! Glow on!
