                  How to be a Runner

Buy a pair of sneakers
Ones that feel good to YOU
Expect to pay some money
Your feet are worth it, honey
Open the door
Step outside…
Welcome nature
Your companion and guide
Warm up with a
five minute walk
then run your pace
Just don’t forget to lace
your sneakers—
double knotted
is recommended
Running buddies
are great to have
meet up with them
when you can.
Lean forward
Pump your arms
Shorten your stride
That will help you
on the climbs.
You got this yo!
Talk positive is
the way to go.
Count the birds
Feel the breeze
Nothing is urgent
May you run with ease.

Thank you for being here with me.

What advice would you add?
