I'm nervous to admit this...

Running Into Poetry is here! And Poem out Loud
7

Hey! So glad you’re here. I’m nervous to admit this but I have a poetry book coming out tomorrow! You can buy the kindle version on Amazon HERE or if you’re like me and want the actual book in hand, May 20 will be the day to grab your copy.

Here’s the link again if you want to check it out: Running Into Poetry-An invitation to be present on your path.

Thank you so much for your support and for spreading the word.

Now to the Poem of the Day:

It’s called- well actually I don’t have a title yet.

Help me out…what title would you give this poem? Share in the comments below.

Poem of the Day:

What did you spot on your run?
I saw three deer munching some grass
They looked up at me as I passed
Two cardinals a flash of red
Flying by me as I sped

What did you find on your run?
Some trash that I shoved
in my pockets—oh wait!
That’s a dime
Look at it shine.
Heading home I looked down
A crumpled up paper on the ground
As I got closer to pick it up
One dollar
No wait two dollars! That I get
to snatch up!

Running is an adventure
Everyday—
You never know what you
Will find or spot
along the way.
