I want to give a shout-out to Felicia for joining us yesterday to write! We had a great time and looking forward to next week’s meet-up. Thank you so much.

Here’s the poem out loud today—PONYTAIL SWAYS read by Delaney Hughes.

       PONYTAIL SWAYS

My ponytail sways
Side to side
Eyes ablaze
Enthusiasm for the road
A time, place to let it all go
Both feet are off the ground
Look!
I'm flying now.

Drop the should, would, could
It’s all good!
Let the ponytail sway
It’s my time to play.

How do you feel while running?
