You Can Run You can't run— three words to crush my spirit. A message to move along my nervous system Clings to my hips grips my spine— burrows deep in my mind. You can't run a pity party of defeat Three syllables on repeat that I believed— WAKEUP! I am not delicate I am not fixed I am not dead—yet WAKEUP! I am robust I am bioplastic I am alive AND! I can comeback I can gradually comeback. I can run. I will run.
Have a terrific Thursday!
Take good care,
Julie
