Thankful Thursday!

Thank you

for the restack this week. Thank you for inviting me to your podblog One Line, One Love. The Kitkat bar will forever give me a laugh as I enter the grocery line. Thank you to for another amazing recipe. Check out her Cook & Tell food letter for some yummy treats/meals. Thank you for chiming in this week. I love Substack exactly, for this reason, the conversation and encouragement to keep going.

Thank you to new subscribers,

, nickwenthiking, eavery001, ca.biesalski, and jerryketoff, we hope you enjoy the Run to Write weekday space and make some new friends.

               Goofball

Sweet—
white powder
covers the ground
As I tiptoe out into
the darkness
Time to play
My legs take off
A soft crunch
under my
sneakers
I smile as the
Snowflakes
speed towards
my eyelashes,
nose,
and lips
I wonder
Will I catch one
I stick out my tongue—
Harder than I imagined…
Maybe if I lick the sky?
Laughter fills the
Silence
What a goofball
Joy and love
roll through the snow

We meet tomorrow to make something together. Some folks write, some paint, and some draw. Join us at 11 am (EST). Click the button below to join our Zoom room. Any questions, please reply to this email.

Create/Write Together

“Laughter is a holy thing. It is as sacred as music and silence
and solemnity, maybe more sacred. Laughter is like a prayer, like
a bridge over which creatures tiptoe to meet each other. Laughter
is like mercy; it heals. When you can laugh at yourself, you are
free.”
